Have opinions on the proposed 19 story luxury apartment tower on the CCA campus? We need you at the Landmark Preservation Advisory Board Meeting Monday 6PM City Hall.
In honor of fall and upcoming Halloween please wear orange. Come early and we will be handing out orange bandanas.
You can still write the City Planner, Rebecca Lind, with your thoughts about the per-application (now due October 18th). Reminder your specific concerns must be raised now in order to be included in the scope of the EIR (Environmental Impact Report). We can’t raise new issues later. EVERY LETTER COUNTS.

Oakland Heritage Alliance previously toured Broadway’s Auto Row in 2007.In 2019 they are revisiting Auto Row where car lots are now being re-developed as large apartment buildings. Valerie Winemiller led this tour in 2007 and is co-leading the 2019 tour with Naomi Schiff. I have attended a number of OHA tours led by these two and I highly recommend any tour led by them. Both have an in-depth knowledge of the present and past history of Broadway.
