Unless there is a specific calendar or a type of calendar(like the poster-sized jazz calendars they often carry) I suggest avoiding the January 1 morning crowd.

Unfortunately, the variety and the quality of the calendars is not what it used to be. I was disappointed in the photographs of the two calendars I bought last year. Good luck and Happy New Year.
I don’t know how they sell them for 3 for $12. It cost me about $4 to mail them.
One of the staff member hates these calendar sales .Those boxes of calendars are very heavy. The store’s books must be re-arranged.And coming in after partying on New Year’s Eve to be confronted with the crush of customers from 10AM to noon is very stressful.
