Emerson: Going on the third year in a row, Emerson Elementary in Oakland has been our gracious host. And every year they also fundraise for programs at their school. While you’re there this year get some sweet or savory baked goods. LINK
Emerson is within easy walking distance (3 blocks from Whitmore St). It is located at 4803 Lawton (cross street is 45th St). Book Fair is from noon to 3 PM. The bake sale begins at noon.
To kick off potluck season this year, Alana, Sarah and Ryan invite you to a Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, March 2, 5pm – 8pm. It’ll be at Studio One (365 45th St) which is just a few blocks from our condo.
There will be an awesome taco bar, lots of local craft beer and so many amazing prizes to bid on and win! It’s a great way to get to know more of our neighbors while supporting Emerson Elementary, our neighborhood’s public school where over 75% of the students come from low-income families.
